There’s an octopus in the park.
Its origins trace back to Shin-Nishiarai Park.
A stone mountain on a blueprint was suddenly interrupted by a bold exclamation:
“Add a head and make it an octopus!”
The daring vision of an Adachi City official.
And so, the first-ever “Octopus” was born.
A creation born reluctantly, yet it became an unexpected hit,
captivating hearts and sparking joy.

Like a scene out of Project X,
it’s a story of triumph emerging from hardship.
Then, in 2018, the octopus evolved further.
Through public voting, it gained the name “Octopus Alien Rocket,”
a concept transcending Earth, sending the octopus into space.
